took asbav today. probably the most boring thing i've ever done. it wasn't that bad though because patrick was by my side to amuse me. i really wanted to sit by daniel. he wasn't on the list so he had to wait longer and so i couldn't sit by him.

good deeds

so this past weekend i did some good deeds. hence the title.
first, i went to forever 21 and bought this t-shirt that helped the world wildlife fund (wwf) by me buying it. for those who don't know what wwf is its a non-government organization that helps the conservation, research, and restoration of the enviorment. the shirt is cute. its a black v-nech tee with a panda on the front and on the back it says:
"wwf's ultimate goal is to build a future where people live in harmony with nature. to find a balence and prevail in the preservation of life. in order to see change, we need to change."
i thought it was adorable.
next i went to this thrift store called buffalo exchange. i go there almost every weekend, but anyway before they give you the stuff you purchased they'll ask you if you want a bag or a token and DON'T SAY BAG. because first of all bags are bad they just ruin th enviorment and secondly if you get a token you put it one of the charity boxes they have in the store and the some of the money you spend goes to the charity you chose. i picked one that helps abused and neglected children. i don't remember what is was called though.
lastly, i ordered some tomes shoes. toms shoes is a shoe company that gives a pair of shoes to a child in need from every shoe that is purchased. they design and sell their shoes which are inspired by argentine alpargata design. its an amazing company in my opinion. i hope to intern there after high school.

so yeah. here i am in california. my visit is coming to an end and i am suprisingly happy. dont get me wrong i've had a nice time here, but the problem is i'm pathetic. i'm terribly quiet. i've been staying with distant family while over here and the cousins a have here don't speak english. and i guess i could probably talk to them if i really tried, but instead i'm here. sad huh. blehh. so maybe its not that i'm shy maybe its just i dont wanna speak spanish. whatever the case i'm still pathetic and anti-social.

maybe i should just dig a hole and jump inside. then have someone fill it with dirt.
